General Security Division

Parkguard is an innovative company, that cover all areas of crime prevention, specialising in partnership approaches and community safety. However to compliment these services and further support our Local Authority clients and their partners, we have developed a General Security Division. This Division is designed to enable and support existing functions with a cost effective and tiered provision. Many aspects of wider community safety roles do not require the enhanced services we also offer, so we has established a cost effective solutions that enable and supports our activities and or mitigate risk.  This division can also be independently contracted for a stand-alone or short-term issues.

We have selected a pricing structure for this division that is competitive within the security industry placing us in the low to mid-range pricing bracket. However, due to our Police Accredited status this Division operates at a high standard to prevent any negative impact on the primary company focus and our reputation. This means clients using our General Security Division are afforded high quality staff and equipment, combined with specialist area policing knowledge, while maintaining low industry prices.

Trained and vetted Security Officers to deliver:

• Parks Support Team (PST): Gate locking service
• Operation Reassurance: Dedicated presence deployed to displace offenders while wider Council and Police action is progressed to enable respite for residents affected by anti-social behaviour or crime
• Neighbourhood Wardens: Dedicated staff member to engage and collect information for wider action and act as a capable guardian in a dedicated geographical area
• Security Trained Park Keepers: Staff with enhanced conflict management and resolution training to mitigate risk by temporally replacing Council Park Keepers in more problematic locations, while measures are established to reduce and resolve an issue
• Event Support Teams: Medics and Security Teams including Close Protection
• Security Services: Guards and Dog Handlers for occupied and vacant sites, lone-worker support roles, residential Security Teams, key holding, pre-determined or roving mobile patrols and response services.
